Which new rules IPL governing council announced
1. If franchise wants to retain five players, the following amount will be deducted
-for the first three retentions INR 18 crore INR14 crore and INR 11 crore
-for the remaining two INR 18 crore and INR 14 CRORE
-INR 75 crore from 120 crore will a franchise lose while retaining five players
2. Not going away impact player
IPL has decided to retain the impact player rule and will be implemented for the next three seasons (2025, 2026, and 2027). The rule has been introduced in the 2023 season The rule has wide debate on whether it is beneficial to Indian cricket or not.
